Dedicated to the memory of Catrin Macey

This tribute page has been created in loving memory of Catrin Macey. We (her family) wish to honour mums memory and to continue her legacy in supporting others. Mum dedicated her life to caring for and empowering others whilst making a real difference, no matter the cause. Although we had no time to discuss arrangements with mum, we are aware of charities close to her heart; Greyhound Rescue Wales and Hope House Children’s Hospice. We also feel that it is important to raise awareness and funds for Brain Tumour Research in hopes that a treatment is found so that other families are given hope and time.

Mum would describe herself as a 'people person', and had a genuine interest in the lives of those around her. She had involved herself in many social groups, both professionally and recreationally, due to her 'FOMO' (fear of missing out) as she would often say. Mum thoroughly enjoyed her cold morning swims at LLyn Padarn, local walks followed by coffee and cake, and a regular catch-up at Knit and Natter.

As a family our greatest thanks goes to mum, for sharing her amazing life with us. She was our number one supporter and strongly believed that we should all follow our dreams and create a life we were exited for. We will miss simple mornings filled with coffee and chatter, cosy evenings by the fire, and all of our adventures together (especially in Disney).
